Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Information Technology (IT) Specialist / IT Manager to manage, support, and improve our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure the smooth operation, security, and reliability of all IT systems. This role involves maintaining hardware and software, troubleshooting issues, implementing new technologies, and supporting the team with technical needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and networks.
- Monitor system performance and ensure the stability and security of IT operations.
- Provide technical support and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage user access, permissions, system updates, and backups.
- Implement cybersecurity measures and respond to security vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate with different departments to support their IT requirements.
- Maintain documentation for IT processes, configurations, and procedures.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified.
- Experience in managing IT infrastructure for digital or tech-based companies.
- Familiarity with web tools, hosting environments, and basic development concepts.
